What is Cash Now, More Later and how does it work?

Cash Now, More Later is an Opendoor program designed for sellers who want liquidity now but don't want to leave money on the table. Opendoor purchases the home and provides the seller with cash upfront, then handles the renovation. You take the listing back to market, your client keeps any potential upside (less fees) from the resale, and you earn your full commission.

How do I get started with the integration?

If you're a RealScout customer, the integration is already live inside your account. If you're not on RealScout yet, book a demo and we'll walk you through it.

What does the offer request flow look like for me and my client?

When your client clicks "Request a Cash Offer" on their Home Value Alert, you immediately get an email and a dashboard notification. You walk them through both offers and they choose which path to pursue. If you initiate the request yourself, the flow
is the same minus the initial client click.

Can I run a cash offer on one of my listings?

Yes. Every claimed listing has a Cash Offer tab next to Reverse Prospecting in your RealScout account. Especially useful when days-on-market climbs, before another price reduction.

How do I access Opendoor offers inside RealScout?

Six places in your RealScout account route to the same Opendoor offer page. Your client can click "Request a Cash Offer" on their Home Value Alert — you get pinged via email and a dashboard widget the second they raise their hand. You can also initiate a request yourself from
any Contact Details Page or from the Cash Offer tab on any of your claimed listings. Every path lands on the same Opendoor page inside RealScout, where the Cash and Cash Now, More Later estimates appear side by side.

How are my client and their data protected when I run an Opendoor offer?

When you request an Opendoor offer through RealScout, Opendoor cannot use that request – or any client data shared in the process – to go around you or solicit your client to transact without you.
